THE CONCEPT OF STUDIO 315

We believe that architecture subtly influences human interactions, while reflecting the cultural spirit of its time

From the outset, our objective was to procure or establish a suitable workspace that could not only house the entire NRA team, but also embody our shared vision for the utilization and enjoyment of our daily professional environment, where we are set to spend the substantial portion of our time.

Designing a space that embodies the conventional concept of “corporate glamour” was never a viable option for us, as it does not align with our shared philosophy regarding the emotional impact of a space. While not all spaces need to evoke a specific feeling, we firmly believe in creating environments that resonate with people and leave a lasting impression on those who spend time in them.

Situated in the self-declared “Republic of Zabjelo” district, our studio uniquely integrates a narratively designed interior with a spacious terrace. This terrace, fulfilling a long-held vision, has been developed into a rooftop garden, a verdant sanctuary amidst the city’s vibrant core, offering a haven for relaxation, escape, contemplation, sunbathing, stargazing, and meditation.

Today, Studio 315 serves as more than just a workspace; it fosters an environment where innovative concepts are conceived, shared, and materialized. It is designed to inspire, define, redefine, nurture, host, encourage, support individuals in their creative endeavors, and embody the collective spirit of our close-knit community.

Studio 315 has evolved beyond its initial purpose. It has developed a unique allure that draws all NRA team members back to its core. This is where we cultivate our organizational culture, develop projects, confront and resolve challenges, work diligently, engage in recreational activities, commemorate accomplishments, and generate and produce creative content.

We are deeply proud of this project; if architecture can indeed shape human behavior, then this space stands as a testament to our creative community’s ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.

THE ORIGIN STORY

2016
In the initial stages of the NRA’s establishment in 2016, our modest office setup consisted of a compact bedroom, a computer with relatively limited hardware capabilities, a single printer, and two canine companions cuddling on the bed. Indeed, it was a home office.
2019
In the year of 2019, we leased a one-bedroom apartment in a bustling and recently developed area of the Capital City known as City kvart. We strategically transformed this space into a functional office environment, featuring a living room that served as an office accommodating our team of architects who were positioned in two rows (with not much space between them). The bedroom was utilized as both the director’s office and a conference room, albeit with a seating capacity of only three and a half.
2020
Nevertheless, during the period of sharing that modest apartment converted into an office, the NRA, as a group, experienced many unforgettable moments of immense fun, engaging in basketball games, the game of Jenga, and playfully executing practical jokes and pranks on one another. While these activities fostered camaraderie, the limited space eventually became impractical for continued use.
January 9, 2023
The NRA team moved into the new place on January 9, 2023, and thus began the story of Studio 315.
